We arrived, safely.
The train journey was uneventful, although the lack of sleep and disturbance at 3am by a gypsy woman and her disabled mother spoilt the small amount of sleep Kate and I managed to get. Once we got to San Bennedetto del Tronto at around 4.30am we text Rupert the host, who (to my suprise) picked us up in 30minutes! We arrived at the house around 5am, ish. After being blown away by how huge, beautiful and altogether amazing this place was, we went to bed, exhausted.

We woke around noon, came downstairs and met the Americans who we stayed with in Lisbon - plus Lyn, the wife of Rupert. Everything here seems too good to be true, but so far it hasn't proved us wrong.
A pool, amazing weather, beautiful company, and great food has made the work we are doing on the villa seem nothing - I even said the other day that I feel we should be doing more for them.

In our last few days in Lisbon & with the Beaumont family, we had a sardine BBQ.
Learnt some permaculture techniques to stop weed growing, visited a gyspy market, packed, re-packed and chucked alot away..

We bought every member of the family a gift & had group photos taken that we will publish soon, it was very hard to say goodbye after nearly 2 months of living with the family & I feel i can say for everyone it was horrible when it come to the leaving time, after our teary goodbyes we got a cab to the airport and boarded our flight to Milan at 1pm. Our flight was very nice with a company called Lustsfansa, there was an on flight meal & free drink & desert we arrived in milan at 4.30pm (1 hr time difference).

I managed to lock myself in the airport toilet as soon as we arrived. Good start.
I dont really know why but I freaked out and started banging the door & shouting HELP HELP IM LOCKED IN !!!!!!!
An Itailan airport maintence man heard my cries and got me out, Im pretty sure he thought I was crazy ..
We got the shuttle bus to the main station in Milan ( kind of like Kings Cross). We bought our train tickets for our overnight train to Bologna, then transfer to San Bennedetto del Tronto arriving at 4.35 am. We had 3.5 hours to kill in Milan so we grabed our 1st itailan pizza in a restraunt that had been in milan since 1931!

On the way back from the restraunt we witnessed some guy taking a piss just on the street. We thought we would get our 1st real itailan coffee, but we couldnt find anywhere half decent to go .. we ended up in some back street filled with crappy hotels & whore houses posing as thai massage parlours.

We then got charged 9 euros for 2 coffees & pretty much decided that we wanted to get out of milan asap.
We boarded our overnight train at 11pm there was some crazyness about people not sitting in there correct seats & it was very hot and packed, Sam & I had no idea what was going on but we were moved about as if we were dolls by the itailan people in our carrage.  They were nice though, and friendly - I think just the inital fear of crazy over friendly people scared both of us!

So its midnight now as I write this quick entry. We have until 4.30 travelling ... then we had to wait at the San Bennedetto station for Rupert ( our new host to come & pick us up ) & we will start another days work, I predict I will be dead by 3pm ....
