On or around the 17th of April our host Maria introduced us to Carolyn & Joshua from Seattle, they were to stay with us for two weeks living with us in the apartment & to work along side us ...
In the two weeks we went to the Oceanarium ( this is like aquarium but set out in the differnt oceans) the beach Cascais played dice cards and beer pong.. we hung out in the park,went for coffee,shopping & cooked meals together. On the second to last night we found Bar Vic's a local bar that is amazing inside is low lit with old fashioned red velvet booths for seating areas we ordered cocktails,beers & coffee and played cards all night the bar man kept us topped up with popcorn, nuts & crisps...
Carolyn & Josh have now left for Italy & hopefully we will meet up in Verona in June, it was so nice having people our age to hang out with & do the things you would do at home with your friends .
Since they have left ....
On Monday i shall be getting my hair cut at 4pm at Facto ( has a website ), it is in the Barrio Alto district which is really cool full of boutiques,vintage and really nice coffee shops & by night it is main place for nightlife everything turns into bars and everyone is drinking & dancing in the street. We also checked out another tattoo place there called Bad Bones it was so pretty inside I will post a pic below.
